By car:
Coming North or West you reach Genoa, from where you continue with the Motorway A12 Genova-Rosignano in direction to Livorno. According to the town you want to visit there are several Exits:

• Recco: to reach Recco e Camogli, Portofino, Santa Margherita Ligure
• Rapallo: to reach Rapallo, Portofino, Santa Margherita Ligure
• Chiavari: to reach Chiavari and Fontanabuona Valley
• Lavagna: to reach Lavagna, Fontanabuona Valley and Gambatesa Mines
• Sestri Levante: to reach Sestri Levante, with its wonderful Silence Bay and the small town of Riva Trigoso, and also the Bracco Pass
• Deiva Marina: to reach Deiva Marina, Moneglia, Framura, Bracco Pass
• Carrodano: to reach Levanto
• Brugnato: to reach the Vara Valley and Varese Ligure
• La Spezia: to reach La Spezia, Portovenere, Lerici, Bocca di Magra and Lunigiana
• Versilia:after La Spezia, always continuing on the Motorway A12 Genova-Rosignano in direction to Livorno, you pass the exits of Sarzana, Carrara and Massa until you reach the exit Versilia. Next stop after Versilia is Viareggio.

Coming South, Centre or North-East you can reach La Spezia by the Motorway A15 Parma-La Spezia or by the A11 Firenze-Pisa with the junction into the A12.
From La Psezia you drive along the A12 Genova-Rosignano in direction of Genoa.
Follow the direction already given about the Exits.

By train:
By train you reach Genoa coming North or West, or La Spezia coming South, Cantre or North-East. The railway line Genoa-La Spezia is served by regional trains that stop in all the towns. It is really easy to organise your visit by train, because all the towns of the Riviera have a railway station.

By plain:

By boat:
If you want to do an excursion by boat along the Riviera di Levante Coast we suggest you to wait for the summer season, when the departures from the several harbours are more frequent.
