At the exit "La Spezia - S. Stefano Magra ", take the main road number 370 “Litoranea delle Cinque Terre” and when you are in La Spezia proceed along the seafront in direction Cinque Terre-Portovenere.
After the arsenal of La Spezia the street divides: at that point proceed straight uphill towards Manarola and Riomaggiore. You will meet one after the other Riomaggiore, Manarola, Corniglia, Vernazza, Monterosso.

By train:
The Cinque Terre territory is characterized by high hills overlooking the sea, for that reason streets are narrow, steep and with lots of curves. There are limited places to park cars, and the centre of the towns is closed to private traffic.
For all that reasons the train is the ideal means of transport to reach the Cinque Terre.

Railway lines to the Cinque Terre:
Line Rome - Genoa - Turin
Line Bologna - Parma – Genoa
From La Spezia leave every 40 Minutes regional trains that stop in all the villages of Cinque Terre. Leaving from la Spezia, the first town you meet is Riomaggiore.
