A wonderful holiday between… Cinque Terre and Portofino - deiva marina uk
Deiva Marina and surroundings
From Riva Trigoso you can reach the other towns of the coast thanks to a very suggestive track: driving across the tunnels of the old railway line, dating back to the age of steam trains, you can enjoy the breathtaking panoramas surprising you with their alternation between light and darkness. Now they are an open road where traffic is regulated by traffic light, as they are narrow and single-line.
At the end of the tunnels you arrive first in Moneglia and then in Deiva Marina, renowned for its beautiful beach and for the access to the Bracco pass, famous passage among motorcycling lovers because it offers wonderful landscapes with hairpin bends and exciting rectilinear.
From Deiva Marina you can start the panoramic road that connects it to Framura and Bonassola. The unforgettable beauty of this roadleads us to the particular village of Framura, which is composed by 5 small towns scattered here and there between sea and hills.
The mountains in this area have been recently examined by geologists because they are rich in peridotite, a rare magmatic rock with a particular green colourcontaining olivine.
